The Good Pub Guide 2019 has for the fourth year running awarded us a Star for Outstanding Food.

Visit our well-stocked bar and cellar with finely kept real ales from local brewery Otter on tap, as well as Cornish Tribute and Tarka4 local lager and Continental lagers and a range of single Malt whiskies and gins.

We offer traditional pub food alongside more contemporary dishes such as Camembert Fondant with pickled beetroot and Short Ribs of Beef slow braised in black garlic juices served with smoked cheddar mash and kale. Every Sunday, we have a Roast of the day as well as our A la carte menu and Specials.

At the Rock Inn, our menu changes regularly according to what is available during the seasons, and it is very important to us that we use local suppliers and farmers. Our meat comes from Stillmans butchers in Taunton and Beech Ridge Farm, Hockworthy.

We offer cosy and well-equipped bedrooms, each with their own private bath or shower facilities, so having wined and dined well, just climb the stairs to a peaceful sleep.

Well behaved dogs are very welcome to stay with us and to dine with us, but only on a lead in our Dining Room and the bar area, and communal areas.
 

Spring Opening Hours

Closed Sunday evening, all day Monday & Tuesday lunch. However, on Mondays we are available for private groups.
